DWB Timber Engineering supply Quality Assured and PEFC certified engineered timber products to the building industry. Founded in 1986 they are an independent company with an enviable reputation for their range of Roof Trusses, Posi-Joists, feature trusses and laminated beams.
With design & fabrication plants located in Essex, South Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire along with their design centre located in Warwickshire they are ideally situated to cover a large proportion of England whilst retaining their local company feel.
DWB Timber Engineering aim to set the highest standards of quality within their industry. They are currently operating to the BS ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance system which is certificated by CATG. They are also a TRA member organisation, this gives them access to all the advice and guidance given by their industries leading association.
All their trusses & Posi-Joists conform to and are supplied with PEFC chain of custody certification. This means that the structural timber used in their production is never from a prohibited species or an illegal source. What’s more, the timber they use comes from sustainably managed forests and that it is both recyclable and biodegradable.
DWB are now recruiting for a Trainee to join their highly experienced team of Designer/Estimators. For the right candidate, there is great potential to grow and take on more responsibility within the organisation. In the immediate term, full training will be provided, including the opportunity to attend some highly regarded residential industry specific training.
You will be working alongside experienced colleagues who have been working in the industry for in some cases approaching 50 years, so you can be assured that you will be learning from ‘the best’. You will also have access to the latest and most highly regarded IT packages and equipment.
Your work will involve using your strong numerical skills to interpret and work with technical drawings to provide the best solutions to fit the requirements of each individual client. You should also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be driven by delivering an efficient, smooth and professional customer experience. Driving license essential.
